Band Work

Gareth is is currently juggling his involvement in two bands. The first band, Nova Incepta, is his own international passion project where he serves as the drummer and composer. This band brings together talented musicians from different parts of the world, with Brad Williamson from Los Angeles and Jesse Turner from Sydney, both of whom have studied at Berklee. Nova Incepta's music is a unique blend of progressive metal, epic film scores, and world music

On the other hand, Gareth is also a part of a local West African drumming group called Spankinhide. Though based in Byron Bay, this energetic band travels all over the region of northern New South Wales and southeast Queensland to perform their vibrant and rhythm-filled shows. Gareth's dedication to both bands showcases his versatility and love for diverse musical genres.
